محمد مختاری ؛ شاعر و متفکر ايرانی ؛ در آذر ماه 1377 ؛ توسط ماموران وزارت اطلاعات جمهوری اسلامی ربوده شد ؛ و در دوازدهم آذر ماه ؛ تن بيجان او را در يکی از بيابان های اطراف تهران يافتند .
او به عنوان يک نويسنده مستقل ؛ عليه " فرهنگ سلطه " مبارزه ميکرد و با طرح " ساخت استبدادی ذهن " و " فرهنگ حذف " به " درک حضور ديگری " و " باز خوانی فرهنگ " می پرداخت و اهل خرد را به " تمرين مدارا و ذهنيت انتقادی " فرا می خواند
يکی از کتاب های بسيار خواندنی و ارزشمندی که از محمد مختاری به يادگار ماند ؛ کتابی است بنام "چشم مرکب " که همچون کتاب ديگرش " انسان در شعر معاصر " به باز خوانی فرهنگ می پردازد .
اگرچه نقطه عزيمت اين هر دو کتاب " شعر " است ؛ اما چشم انداز هر دو ؛ درک مبانی و مظاهر ذهنيت و معرفت گذشته و اکنون ماست .
در اين کتاب چگونگی نو انديشی و نو ذهنی معاصر ؛ در وانهادن ساخت های ذهنی ؛ و فاصله گيری از ساخت های استبدادی ؛ مورد بررسی قرار گرفته است .
خواندن اين کتاب را به همه شما توصيه می کنم .
ياد عبدالله بن مقفع ؛ نويسنده ارجمند ايرانی و مترجم کتاب گرانسنگ " کليله و دمنه " افتادم که اين کتاب را از زبان پهلوی به عربی ترجمه کرده بود و بگفته ابوريحان بيرونی باب برزويه طبيب را بدان افزوده بود تا شايد در عقايد مسلمانان شک و ترديد ايجاد کند و آنان را برای پذيرش آيين مانی آماده سازد .
در عصر منصور خليفه ؛ امير بصره ؛ سفيان بن معاويه ؛ ابن مقفع را دستگير کرد و به اتهام اينکه کتابی همرديف قرآن نوشته است ؛ او را به " زندقه " متهم کرد و دستور داد تنوری افروختند و دست و پای ابن مقفع را بريدند و در تنور انداختند .
نگاهی به متون تاريخی بعد از اسلام ؛ نشانگر خشم و تعصب دينی تازيان نسبت به انديشمندان ايرانی و نمايانگر نام انسان های بزرگ و عزيزی است که در برابر تعصب و بی خردی جان باخته اند

در كلاسمان جوانك عربي است. ازين تروريست هاي فلسطيني. چندي پيش برادرش در يك عمليات انتحاري در عراق كشته شد. جناب تروريست ما به طرفه العيني بليط طياره ي مجاني براي سوريه گرفت و از آن جا هم عراق. تا آخر ترم هم مشغول عزاداري در عراق بود. سر امتحان ممتحن برگ يكي از دختران كلاس را از دستش گرفت و به دست عرب داد. دخترك شروع به داد و بيداد كرد و ما هم بعد از امتحان جنجال راه انداختيم و هوچي بازي در اورديم تا شايد زهري به عرب جماعت ريخته باشيم. القصه نمره ي امتحان ما را به علت اخلال كم كردند... چند روز بعد كه مراسم چهلم برادر تروريست قصه ي ما در امفي تئاتر دانش گاه بود دخترك اولين نفري بود كه به مراسم رفت... گيله مرد جان... از ماست كه بر ماست... جخ عقابي هم نمانده كه روزي ز سر سنگ به هوا رود... همه مان كلاغ هاي لجن خواري بيش نيستيم
